Assistant Fiscal licenciado Ramón Núñez Lirano has denounced that lawyers representing the accused police in the case involving the killing of three young men in Puerto Plata in early January, have exerted pressure on witnesses for the prosecution not to testify or to withdraw their original witness statements. The local Colegio de Abogados has not commented on this allegation.
