James McKnight, a 55 year old US citizen living in Sosua, was apprehended on Tuesday for driving a gold coloured Suzuki Gran Vitara Jeep which had been stolen from a residence in La Mulatta last December. Mr. McKnight had a bill of sale showing that he bought the vehicle from a used car dealership in Moca. The vehicle has been sequestered by police pending an investigation and police are also looking for the vendor named in the contract.
