search Mysterious Vehicles From Colombia
'The eventual import of 10,000 vehicles from Colombia under a single tax or no tax scheme that would favour syndicates and transportation companies has produced a confrontation between one sector of the transportation sector and the Dominican ambassador in Colombia, who is serving as a facilitator for the business. Meanwhile, the director of the Technical Office of Ground Transportation (OTTT), Angel Segura and the sub-director of the Office for the Reordering of Transportation (OPRET), Leonel Carrasco, took their respective entities out of the controversial operation. The Dominican ambassador in Colombia, Angel Lockward, stated yesterday that everything began when several groups of syndicate leaders approached the government in order to request help for the poor state of their vehicular flotillas.'
