The recent exhibition of plans for the redevelopment of the Puntilla of Puerto Plata has suggested both old and new ideas. New would be some of the transportation methods envisaged such as the introduction of a ferry service and what are described as 'ingenious tourist gua-guas'............. ! The necessity of moving the power plant, on the other hand, is not a new suggestion.
