On Wednesday morning the body of Tore Karlsen, a 59 year old Nowegian expat, was found by his neighbour in his residence in Costambar. The neighbour had called at 8 am to check whether they were going to play their customary Wednesday golf game, received confirmation and 35 minutes later when he drove next door to collect Mr Karlsen, received no response. He contacted apartment staff and all entered to find Tore Karlsen had been killed, as well as bound and gagged. Cause of death is yet to be determined by a pathology report. Profound condolences are extended to the family of a man whom all his friends knew to be kind, generous and inoffensive. Laptop computers were not stolen but the neighbour's arrival could have interrupted a theft, if that is what it was. Police are investigating.
