Happy Easter! Don't Visit Costambar

When the President of Costambar APC advised holidaymakers not to visit Costambar over Easter, he was alluding to the ongoing roardworks on the access road and the lack of space for parking of vehicles outside the entrance gate. Traditionally, school buses with holidaymakers up from Santiago for the weekend or the day, disembark their passengers outside the main gate and remain parked up on the access road. Clearly, as this reporter noticed earlier in the week, that is not physically possible at present due to a ten foot high mound of earth across the road and a ditch the other side! However this has been interpreted by the Association of Beach Vendors as a violation of their rights to earn their living and they are threatening legal action. They are also threatening peaceful protests. Readers should consider themselves advised! And wished a very happy Easter.
